Language Trainers is a successful language training company working with freelance teachers of 70 different languages in hundreds of towns and cities across the world. Students are either in-company or self-funded who need to learn a language at their office or their home for work, family or travel reasons. We are currently seeking a freelance Norwegian teacher for an in-person course (2:1) in Darmstadt and would like to submit a course offer to you.
Course details:
Language: Norwegian
Format: In-person instruction, 2 participants
Start: from approximately March 1st
Scope: 100 lessons (50 sessions of 90 minutes each)
Language level: Beginner / Elementary
Learning objectives: Reading, speaking, and listening comprehension
Content focus: General German with a supplementary business context, especially in preparation for emigration to Norway
Provisional lesson times:
Tuesdays and Wednesdays from approximately 6:00 p.m.
Saturdays from approximately 11:00 a.m. (Changes are possible and will be flexibly arranged with you if needed.)
Location:
In-person lessons in Darmstadt (exact address will be provided upon request)
Participants:
2 adult learners
Age group: 25–34 years
Native language: German
Prior knowledge: Approximately 1–2 years of self-directed learning (e.g., Duolingo)
Ideal teacher should:
Location of the classes and schedule could be flexible based on your and the client’s availability. The hourly rate is negotiable depending on qualifications and experience. This is a freelance part-time position and we are not able to sponsor your visa.
