Workster is partnering with a leading global financial services firm to recruit a Norwegian Client Advisor for an on-site role in Lisbon, Portugal.
In this role, you will provide high-quality client service and advisory support to a portfolio of Norwegian-speaking retail and private clients. You will be the primary point of contact for client enquiries, support onboarding and transactional processes, and collaborate with local teams to deliver an outstanding client experience. This is an on-site position based in Lisbon, working within a multilingual environment.
Respond to inbound client enquiries in Norwegian and English via phone, email, and chat, ensuring timely and professional service
Provide product and service guidance to clients, including account queries, payments, basic investment information, and platform navigation
Support client onboarding and KYC processes, ensuring documentation is complete and compliant with internal policies and regulatory requirements
Process transactional requests accurately, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and basic securities operations
Identify and escalate complex cases or potential compliance issues to specialist teams in a timely manner
Maintain accurate client records and case notes in internal systems to ensure data integrity and efficient handovers
Collaborate with colleagues across Operations, Compliance, and Product to improve processes and enhance the client journey
Contribute to local knowledge sharing and help develop Norwegian language support materials and FAQs
Fluent Norwegian (written and spoken) and strong English communication skills
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Finance, Business, Languages, or a related discipline
2+ years’ experience in client service, retail banking, investment platforms, or a financial services environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused mindset and attention to detail
Familiarity with KYC/AML requirements and client onboarding workflows is desirable
Comfortable working with CRM and case management systems; strong IT literacy including MS Office
Ability to work on-site in Lisbon and collaborate within a multicultural, multilingual team
Flexible approach to shift patterns to support extended service hours where required
