Job Function:

The job of the FCS Sales Engineer is to gain market share at a profitable level within her/his assigned territory for the FCS product portfolio on the different business segments.

Reports to:

FCS National Sales Manager - Mexico

Responsibilities and Objectives:

  • In person visits of existing and prospective (where applicable) customers in order to present STAUBLI FCS Solutions
  • Daily Face to Face visits according to sales KPI stablished by the manager.
  • Reach or overpass the sales target of the territory
  • Prepares and delivers technical presentations explaining spare parts, and products to existing and prospective customers
  • Understands the technical needs of the customer and provides the correct solution.
  • Set up new customers on the CRM Properly
  • Prepare weekly Agenda within one week in Advance on the CRM
  • Report the visits on time into CRM according Staubli Guidelines
  • Get and fill all the documents required to set up a customer on the system
  • Participate on weekly sales follow up call
  • Utilizes the CRM system for information management, tracking and reports
  • Properly Quotations and Opportunities follow up.
  • Provide the correct information to Engineering department to develop specialized products.
  • Good and respectful communication with other departments (Inside Sales, Logistics and Finance).
  • Elaborate and Present expenses report in a timely manner every week
  • Participates and remains proactive in trade shows and open house events as well as National sales meeting in Duncan, SC every year.
  • Territory will cover Mexico – depending on the region assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronic Engineer or equivalent work experience required (engineering or technical background preferred)
  • Technical knowledge and experience on Field Sales
  • Capacity to manage and to follow up projects
  • Cold calling High level skill
  • Experience developing new territories with new accounts, new contacts.
  • Regional Sales Experience on the NorthEast (Monterrey, Saltillo, Torreon)
  • Be a team player willing to assist as needed
  • Self-starter and work under limited supervision in a fast-paced team environment
  • Must be able to use critical thinking and problem solving to resolve customer issues
  • Excellent listening skills, curiosity, comprehension, self-motivation, problem-solving skills
  • Preferred geographic base: one of these options: Saltillo Coahuila, Monterrey Nuevo Leon
  • Must be bilingual in both Spanish and English

Additional Information

Work schedule:

  • 70% - 80% travel (3 or 4 days per week) for prospective and existing customer visits
  • 1 or 2 office days per week for the administrative duties
