Job Description

Points East Veterinary Specialty Hospital is opening a brand-new, state-of-the-art hospital in Wilmington, North Carolina, in November 2026, and we are seeking an Emergency Veterinarian to help build something special from the ground up.

Points East VSH will join three sister hospitals serving Eastern North Carolina and will be the only privately owned emergency hospital in coastal North Carolina Our organization has been built around collaboration, kindness, empathy, and a commitment to practicing high-quality medicine without losing sight of the people behind it.

You will be joining a hospital led by veterinarians who understand emergency and specialty medicine firsthand. A boarded surgeon and seasoned emergency clinician serve as business partners in the hospital, while a boarded anesthesiologist serves as Medical Director. Together, our veterinary leadership brings more than 60 years of combined experience and is committed to creating an environment where doctors feel supported, respected, and empowered to practice excellent medicine.
