How You Will Make an Impact

Build and lead a high-performing Supplier Performance organization that drives operational excellence across Thermo Fisher's strategic supplier portfolio. By developing talent, strengthening supplier performance, and fostering cross-functional collaboration, you will improve supply reliability, mitigate operational risk, and deliver an exceptional customer experience. Through data-driven decision making and continuous improvement, you will enable scalable supplier partnerships that support business growth and Thermo Fisher's mission of making the world healthier, cleaner, and safer.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build, lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of Supplier Performance Analysts, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Establish and standardize supplier performance governance, operating processes, performance expectations, and best practices to create a scalable and consistent operating model.
  • Lead supplier operational performance across the strategic supplier portfolio through KPI management, scorecards, operational reviews, and data-driven performance analysis.
  • Drive supplier accountability by leading operational business reviews, corrective action plans, and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance service, quality, delivery, and supply reliability.
  • Proactively identify supplier performance trends, operational risks, and improvement opportunities, implementing mitigation strategies to minimize business and customer impact.
  • Lead supplier operational performance across the strategic supplier portfolio through KPI management, scorecards, operational reviews, and performance analytics.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Planning, Logistics, Customer Service, Quality, Compliance, Finance, and Commercial teams to resolve complex supplier issues, improve operational performance, and support enterprise objectives.
  • Develop executive dashboards, performance reporting, and operational metrics that enable data-driven decision-making and continuous monitoring of supplier health.
  • Lead supplier operational escalations and recovery efforts to ensure timely resolution of critical issues and minimize supply chain disruption.
  • Champion operational excellence by driving process standardization, governance, and strategic initiatives that improve supplier performance, organizational capability, and customer experience.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, supplier performance, or operations.
  • 3+ years of experience leading and developing teams.
  • Experience managing supplier performance and driving operational improvements.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in life sciences, healthcare, or a regulated industry.
  • Experience with supplier performance management, supply chain analytics, or continuous improvement.
  • Proficiency with Mainframe and data visualization tools such as Power BI.
  • Lean Six Sigma, APICS, CPSM, or other relevant professional certification.
