The North America Procure to Pay Operations Performance Lead (NA P2P OPL) is accountable for overseeing andoptimizingP2P operational performance across the NA region, ensuring delivery ofHaleon’senterprise‑critical metrics such as DPO and POT within a SOX‑controlled environment. The role partners closely with the Global Process Owner to enhance tools, implement automation, reduce financial risk, improve cash flow, minimize revenue leakage, and generate business value aligned with Haleon’sambition to achieve world‑class performance.
The NA P2P OPL leads regional P2P operations through effective management of internal teams and the external BPO partner(Genpact), ensuringstrong performancegovernance, aligned KPIs, cost optimization, and continuous improvement. The role drives operational excellence through cross‑functional collaboration with Procurement and Local Finance, ownership of regional SLAs, and escalation management. It also coordinates regional operations forums to provide transparent performance reporting,facilitateend‑to‑end process improvements, and oversee execution, progress tracking, and results realization across diverse NA markets.
Responsibilities:
Lead the North America Procure to Pay (P2P) organization, ensuring consistent operational performance management aligned with global standards andobjectives
Execute global Procure to Pay strategicobjectiveswithin the NA region, including effective integration and alignment of the BPO organization with business goals.
Define, implement, and monitor KPIs and annual performance targets to measure and improve the effectiveness of NA P2P processes.
Analyze operational performance data toidentifyimprovement opportunities and drive corrective actions across NA markets
Chair and lead operational governance forums,providingactionable performance insights, trend analysis, and recommendations to regional leadership.
Drive strong cross‑functional collaboration across Finance, Procurement, Treasury, and IT to enable seamless end‑to‑end P2P operations.
Lead and support cross‑functional initiatives, projects, and transformation efforts to improve efficiency and process integration.
Partner with the Global Process Owner and Technology teams toidentifyand advance system enhancements, automation, and digital solutions for P2P.
Drive operational excellence by streamlining P2P processes,eliminatinginefficiencies, and promoting best‑practice sharing across NA markets.
Ownfinancial managementfor NA P2P operations, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and resource optimization.
Ensure cost‑effective service delivery whilemaintainingrequired service quality and performance levels.
Support the design, implementation, and monitoring of internal controls to mitigate fraud, errors, and operational risk.
Foster a strong risk and compliance culture, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and company policies across NA P2P operations.
Ensure successful execution of regional P2P projects and process changes across all NA markets
Education and experienced
Bachelor’s degree inFinance, Accounting, or Finance Management
P2P/APsubject matterexpertisewith strong process improvement experience.
SAPexperiencein a ProcuretoPay/Finance/Operations context
Experience working in a large global organization.
Experience ofmanaging enterprise level processes and/or systems.
Ability to influence and challenge stakeholders at various levels.
Experience working in cross-functional teams.
Understanding ofprocess simplification andstandardisationand proven experience in process roll-out.
Good knowledge of process design, lean sigma/six sigma or equivalent.
At least12+ years of relevant experience
Knowledgeable inFMCGindustry
Broad knowledge across P2P end-to-end processes.
Experience ofworking with outsourced BPO providers.
Experienced in Changemanagementandlarge scalebusiness transformation.
