The North America Segment Analyst is responsible for supporting all Marketing activities related to forecasting Allison volumes supporting the 18-month forecast as well as 5 year Market Demand Forecast. This individual is a critical contributor to the CVCP by calculating the market forecast as well as Allison’s share. This individual will support the development of materials for the annual Regional Portfolio review, the MDF the MDF Refresh, and the 10k. The North America Segment Analyst will attend industry forecasting events developing a network of peers across the industry. This individual will work closely with the Allison Sales teams, Global Strategic Marketing and other members of the global marketing organization to ensure all tasks are completed successfully.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as subject matter expert for North America segment market data sources and interpretation
  • Update and distribute the North America monthly market analysis and 18-month forecast impact
  • Attend and participate in monthly North America OEM forecast calls
  • Using CVCP to perform quantitative analysis to determine North America market volumes, segmentation, Allison penetration and the NA Portfolio review.
  • Support the annual 10-K by providing North America input; analyze and explain shifts in Allison's market performance
  • Support the 5-year market demand forecast and volume refresh planning, research, and content development to support the budget and budget refresh
  • Support North America portions of Global Strategic Marketing studies and New Product Development utilizing CVCP content development
  • Track and analyze forecast accuracy
  • Attend, document, and distribute findings at key industry events
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or marketing
  • 3 years minimum experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Detail oriented with a high level of analytical ability and strong mathematical skills
  • Familiarity with AI, Power Bi and Teams
