Job Description

The BackLot Team Member’s (BLTM) primary responsibility is providing an elevated guest experience through exceptional service and hospitality.

What You Will Be Doing:
• Greet guests and make them feel comfortable by establishing a personal connection.
• Communicate promptly, courteously, and effectively with all guests, management, and fellow team members.
• Be knowledgeable about the BackLot brand, arcade equipment, and items sold to be able to answer questions, make recommendations and upsell.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the entire facility, which includes the entry way, restrooms, arcade games, bowling area etc.
• Sell/reload game cards, gift cards, merchandise, and handle guest service items.
• Conduct redemption transactions for guests at the "Prop Dept”.
• Utilize the point of sale (POS) system to reserve bowling lanes for guests and check in/out bowling shoes including sanitization.
• Thank guests for visiting as they exit.

What We Are Looking For:
• Are at least 16 years of age.
• Required to obtain and maintain a current food handler’s card and/or food safety certification.
• Available to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace and possess basic math skills, be fiscally responsible, and operate a point-of-sale system.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, loud environment, with multiple flashing lights, while in a standing position for extended periods of time.
