This role could be placed in either Copenhagen, Denmark or in Oslo, Norway.

Job Description

What will be your role?

We are looking for an experienced Pursuit Lead to join our team. You will project manage some of Deloitte’s most strategic pursuits across the Nordics, leading the end-to-end pursuit process from pre-RFP planning through proposal development, client presentations and follow-up. Using strong project management skills, you will create structure, momentum and quality across complex pursuits, while working closely with pursuit leadership and multidisciplinary teams.

Beyond managing the process, you will, together with rest of the Sales Excellence team, bring a strategic mindset, helping teams develop compelling and differentiated propositions.

In this role, you will make an impact by:

• Leading the pursuit process: Drive the plan with the client service pursuit lead, set milestones and deliverables, track assignments, manage meetings and logistics, and mitigate risks to deliver high-quality submissions that meet client requirements.
• Developing the winning strategy: Work with the Pursuit team to shape compelling value propositions, winning messages and a differentiated strategy for each opportunity.
• Coordinating proposal and presentation development: Oversee documents, design and quality and risk reviews, ensuring consistent strategic messaging across all deliverables.
• Engaging stakeholders and governance: Align senior leaders, subject-matter experts, client service teams and other internal stakeholders; facilitate leadership and quality reviews; and coordinate quality and solutions reviews.
• Managing risks proactively: Identify content and knowledge gaps, identify risks and escalate issues when appropriate.
• Driving innovation and continuous improvement: Apply best practices and lessons from past pursuits and the wider network. Use AI and innovative tools to improve research, collaboration, content and quality, and support learning initiatives that strengthen Deloitte’s sales excellence capabilities.

Qualifications

Who are we looking for?

You are a structured and proactive pursuit professional who can work independently while enabling effective collaboration and momentum across diverse teams. You combine sound judgement and analytical thinking with strong interpersonal skills. You maintain composure, flexibility and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

What you bring to the team:

• Strong project management skills: Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage complex workstreams and maintain excellent quality control over milestones and deliverables.
• Pursuit and proposal experience: At least three years of experience in pursuit and proposal development, preferably in B2B / Professional services sales. A former consulting client-service background combined with pursuit experience is an advantage.
• Stakeholder leadership: Experience collaborating with and building consensus among executive, management and delivery stakeholders, including the ability to navigate differing opinions constructively.
• Proactive and analytical mindset: A self-starting approach, strong analytical skills and the ability to identify gaps, challenges and risks before they affect delivery.
• Resilience and flexibility: Ability to work well under pressure, maintain composure and adapt to shifting priorities and deadlines.
• Team orientation and interpersonal skills: A collaborative working style and strong relationship-building skills that foster trust, alignment and effective teamwork across diverse stakeholders.
• Language skills: Proficient in written and spoken English. Knowledge of another Scandinavian language is a benefit.
