What if you could help turn a major Nordic transformation programme and a new IT landscape into simpler, more automated ways of working across an entire delivery organisation?
As Nordic Automation & Process Lead, you will take ownership of driving the development of standardised and automated end-to-end processes across our Nordic Underlay Delivery & Access Lines organisation. Working at the intersection of business and technology, you will help turn operational needs into processes and solutions that reduce manual work, improve quality and shorten lead times.
The direction is set and the transformation is already underway. A new IT landscape is being introduced as part of a broader simplification programme, creating new opportunities for automation across the organisation. Your role is to help turn that ambition into execution: optimising how the organisation works, ensuring our processes can make full use of the new technology, and driving the changes needed to realise the expected operational benefits.
This is a Nordic role spanning Denmark, Sweden and Norway. You will be a part of the Strategic Transformation and Operational Excellence team in Nordic Underlay Delivery & Access Lines. Collaborating closely with the Nordic delivery management team, operational leaders, process owners and colleagues within IT, Data, Finance and Commercial functions.
A central part of your role will be creating greater consistency across our end-to-end processes and establishing a strong foundation for automation. You will act as an important link between Business and IT, owning the business perspective from identifying automation opportunities and defining requirements through implementation, adoption and benefits realisation.
An important part of that ownership is creating clarity and traceability between business decisions and IT delivery. You will document what teams and departments have agreed, translate those agreements into clear requirements for IT, and define how the delivered solution will be validated against the agreed processes, requirements and expected outcomes.
The role is closely connected to our wider transformation and the introduction of a new IT landscape supporting areas such as Order Orchestration, Automated Provisioning and AI. Your focus will be on ensuring that our processes and organisation are ready to take advantage of these capabilities and that technology investments translate into tangible improvements in how we operate.
You combine a strong business perspective with enough technology understanding to connect operational challenges with practical solutions. You naturally look across organisational boundaries and are comfortable working with complex processes, systems and stakeholder landscapes.
You work in a structured and analytical way, but you are also pragmatic and focused on moving things forward. You are comfortable challenging existing processes and bringing different perspectives together when Business and IT need to reach a shared direction.
This role requires someone who takes initiative and creates momentum. You will not wait for the organisation to come to you with every answer. You are comfortable going out into the business, understanding how work is actually done, identifying what needs to change and bringing the right people together to make it happen. You take ownership of your area, push progress forward and can lead through influence across teams, functions and countries.
Experience with workflow automation, AI, process mining or similar technologies would be valuable. Experience from telecommunications, infrastructure or another complex delivery environment is also an advantage, as is experience working across several Nordic countries.
Fluent English is important for the role, and knowledge of one or more Scandinavian languages is an advantage.
Does this sound like you? If so, we would love to hear from you.
This is an opportunity to take broad ownership of how processes and automation come together across a Nordic organisation. You will have a central role in turning an ongoing technology transformation into simpler processes, greater automation and measurable business improvements.
