
Encorus Group is looking for a Nondestructive Examination (NDE) Inspector to join our Rochester, NY. In this role, you will perform hands-on nondestructive testing and inspection at customer facilities and construction sites throughout the region. This is a field-focused position for someone who enjoys solving problems in the field and seeing the results of their work firsthand.
You will perform a variety of structural steel, welding, and nondestructive testing inspections while working directly with clients, contractors, and project teams. The ideal candidate is someone who takes pride in accurate, quality work, is comfortable working independently in the field, and enjoys the variety that comes with working at different job sites and in different environments.

Technicians and inspectors hold certifications such as ACI, CWI, and NICET.
Our mechanical integrity group provides inspections for tanks, vessels, piping, and boilers, delivering field evaluations, reporting, fitness-for-service reviews, and repair procedure development. Certifications include API 510 (pressure vessels), API 653 (storage tanks), API 570 (process piping), along with CWI, Steel Tank Institute SP001, ASNT-TC-1A, and NBIC qualifications.
The regulated building materials group manages environmental and hazardous materials in New York, Vermont, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Connecticut. Services include inspection, sampling, project design, air monitoring, laboratory analysis, and oversight of renovation and demolition projects to ensure compliance with contracts and regulations.
