
The Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences, College of Arts and Sciences at Texas A&M University invites applications for a Visiting Clinical Assistant Professor within the Clinical Psychology Doctoral (Ph.D.) Program. This is a non-tenure accruing position. This is a part-time, summer semester only, appointment for Summer 2026. The Clinical Psychology Doctoral Program has been accredited by the American Psychological Association since 1988, shortly after being established, and subscribes to a scientist-practitioner training model with clinical science emphases. The successful candidate will have notable experience in clinical supervision and training of graduate student trainees, grounded in evidence-based practice in assessment and treatment modalities for clientele across the life span. Expertise is particularly expected in: (a) consultation to agencies; (b) cognitive, personality, achievement, behavioral, and social-emotional functioning evaluations, especially with instruments such as the PAI and the MMPI-2; and (c) integrated report writing and communication of results and recommendations. The successful applicant will join a cadre of Texas A&M, clinical psychology program faculty and supervisors who teach and train clinical psychology doctoral students in graduate courses such as PBSI 613, Practicum in Psychological Assessment and/or PBSI 614, Practicum in Psychological Interventions.

1. Must have Doctoral degree in School Psychology (or related field) from a program accredited by the American Psychological Association (APA).
2. Must be licensed as a psychologist in the State of Texas.
3. Must have experience providing evidence-based practice services.
4. Must have experience teaching graduate students in clinical psychology (or related disciplines).
5. Must have experience providing clinical supervision to clinical psychology trainees (or related disciplines) in evidence-based practices.
6. Commitment to legal and ethical practices in service delivery, teaching, and clinical training/supervision.
