
The Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics in the CEPH-accredited School of Public Health at Texas A&M University invites applications for a full-time visiting assistant professor non-tenure track position. Texas A&M University is a member of the Association of American Universities (AAU), is a Carnegie Classification R1-Very High Research Activity, and is one of only 17 institutions in the nation to hold the triple designation as a land-grant, sea-grant, and space-grant university. The School of Public Health is going through multiple years of expansion having hired ten new faculty members in the past year.
The competitive candidate will have experience in teaching online and face-to-face graduate and undergraduate courses in epidemiology and biostatistics. The teaching load is seven courses per year; this is a teaching intensive position. This 9‐month appointment would ideally start August 24, 2026, although this date is flexible.
Candidates must hold a DrPH or doctoral degree in epidemiology, public health, or a related field, from an accredited school of public health or related educational institution and significant teaching experience at the College level.
