Job Description

The Non-Production Follow-Up Specialist plays a critical role in supporting Engineering and operational workflows by coordinating and processing all Engineering requisitions and shipper requests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process Engineering requisitions, shipper requests, and all related documentation with a high degree of accuracy and timeliness.
  • Request and manage NPM numbers, extensions, and code updates.
  • Collaborate with buyers to support purchase orders, vendor code changes, and procurement-related workflows.
  • Monitor and follow up on outstanding requests to ensure proper progression and resolution.
  • Train employees on Pentasap and other relevant systems; provide guidance on standardized processes.
  • Maintain the brass tag database, including issuing, tracking, and auditing tags to ensure data accuracy.
  • Prepare and distribute reports, dashboards, and information for Engineering leadership and other stakeholders.
  • Support daily operational needs through proactive communication and problem-solving.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • B achelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems or Operations Management.
  • 5 years of Manufacturing or Operations experience.
  • Clear and concise communications skills required, both oral and written.
  • Ability to work any shift and overtime as required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with Engineer Requisition Process or procurement systems (e.g., Pentasap or similar platforms).
