JOB OVERVIEW
• Job Title: Non-Invasive Cardiologist
• Job Type: Permanent – Full-Time
• Location: Munster, IN
• Service Setting: Inpatient and Outpatient
• Schedule: 144 hours of service per month (1,728 hours annually)
• On-Call Expectations: Phone availability required
• Start Date: Approximately 90–120 days post-offer, pending credentialing

• Consults & Follow-Ups: Yes
• Case Mix/Clinical Focus Areas: Labor and Delivery, OB/Gyn procedures
FACILITY & TEAM DETAILS
• EMR System: Epic – HIMSS Stage VII
• Specialty Backup: Nurse practitioner support in both inpatient and outpatient settings
• Support Staff: Collegial team of system physicians
• Leadership & Reporting Structure: Hospital-employed physician model
• Reason for Opening: Growth and expansion of women’s health services
CREDENTIALING & COMPLIANCE
• Board Requirements: BC/BE in Obstetrics & Gynecology
• DEA & Certifications: DEA, CSR required
• Credentialing Timeline: 90–120 days

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
• Board Status: BC/BE in Obstetrics & Gynecology
• State License Required: Eligibility for Indiana medical license
• Certifications: DEA, CSR
• Experience: Previous OB/Gyn or laborist experience preferred
• Additional Requirements: EPIC proficiency, interest in collaborative patient-centered care
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide obstetric and gynecologic care within an inpatient setting
• Deliver and manage laboring patients and obstetric emergencies
• Support gynecologic surgical procedures and consults
• Collaborate with advanced practitioners and nursing staff
• Document care accurately using EPIC EMR system
