Job Description

We are looking for a Non-Ferrous Receiving Labourer to join our team in Quebec City.

The successful candidate will primarily participate in the receiving, sorting, and handling of non-ferrous metals. The work is performed mainly indoors, with occasional outdoor tasks as operational needs require.

This position is focused on manual labor, material handling, and metal sorting in a dynamic industrial environment. We are looking for a reliable, active individual who is comfortable performing physical work.

What you will be responsible for:

• Welcome customers and follow established procedures;
• Unload, sort, inspect, and handle materials;
• Identify and classify non-ferrous metals;
• Weigh and organize materials;
• Prepare shipments and incoming deliveries;
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the site;
• Work safely in accordance with health and safety standards;
• Perform any other related duties supporting operations.

Qualifications

• You have experience in an industrial, recycling, or related environment (asset);
• You have experience operating a forklift or other equipment (asset);
• You have knowledge of different types of metals (asset);
• You are able to perform manual labor and work indoors, with occasional outdoor work;
• You are in good physical condition and comfortable performing repetitive tasks;
• You are responsible, punctual, resourceful, and committed to health and safety;
• You are a team player with strong collaboration
