About The Hobart Clinic Association Limited

The Hobart Clinic is a not-for-profit mental health service provider, committed to providing high-quality mental health inpatient and outpatient services and therapeutic programs.

The Company is a not-for-profit public company limited by guarantee and charity registered with the ACNC.

Established in 1984, last year The Clinic celebrated it’s 40-year anniversary of providing Life Changing Care. The Clinic has grown into a highly respected non-government mental health service provider, with a 27-bed inpatient facility set on seven acres on Hobart’s Eastern Shore, and The Hobart Clinic MindHub consulting suites and group facilities in Hobart's CBD.

About the Roles

The Board is looking for Directors with relevant experience and/or capability in the following areas:

1. Understanding of and/or Lived Experience of mental health challenges;

2. Government Relations & Advocacy;

3. Strategy and Risk;

4. Clinical Governance & Mental Health Expertise;

5. Financial Oversight;

6. Legal & Compliance;

7. Organisational culture and workforce strategy;

8. Fundraising & Philanthropy.

Graduates of the Australian Institute of Company Directors will be highly regarded.
