Murrey's Disposal, a Waste Connections company, seeks a dedicated and safety-conscious Local Mini Truck Driver to join our team in Fife, WA This is a physically demanding, hands-on position where you’ll get in and out of your truck at every stop, perform commercial lifting, and work hard to serve our customers. While a CDL is preferred, it is not mandatory for this role.

Location: Fife, WA
Schedule: Monday to Friday, day shift starting at 6 AM, with 40 to 50 hours per week based on operational needs
Pay: Starting wages begin between $22.00 to $25.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
Operate a mini rear-load garbage truck along designated routes to collect solid waste safely.
Read and follow route sheets, providing service to each customer as the dispatcher assigns.
Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance, including checking fluids, safety equipment, and tires.
Perform physically demanding tasks such as loading and unloading, often without assistance.
Interact courteously with customers and complete additional job-related tasks as needed.
Working Conditions:
This position requires extensive physical activity, including lifting, pushing, or pulling objects over 50 pounds.
You will work in various outdoor conditions, which may include wet or humid weather, exposure to fumes, and vibrations. Noise levels are typically moderate.
Qualifications:
Clean driving record.
Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in English; high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
