The Non CDL Driver I is a delivery position responsible for driving a company vehicle limited to a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) of 14,900. The position will be assigned stops to deliver foodservice products with a high level of service to customers. Commercial or professional driving experience preferred, but not required. Must meet the medical requirements of the Department of Transportation (DOT). All functions must be completed in a safe and timely manner and in accordance with the Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.

6:00 AM until completion
Schedule may change based on business needs.

Safely drive trucks to customers and meet scheduled customer delivery times.
Carefully unload products from the trailer using a two-wheeler, pallet jack, or by hand and place products in designated customer storage areas.
Verify delivery accuracy with customers and obtain required signatures.
Handle collections and payments when applicable.
Professionally perform customer service responsibilities to enhance the customer experience.
Perform all pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull 20–80+ lbs. of product repetitively throughout each shift.
Comfortable driving and working in inclement weather conditions with frequent stops (10+ per shift).
Register with the FMCSA Clearinghouse.*
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Valid U.S. driver's license issued by the state of legal residence with proper endorsements if required.
No more than two traffic convictions within the past two years, no DUI convictions within the past three years, and no driver's license suspensions within the past three years.
Must be able to pass a DOT physical.
No commercial or professional driving experience required.
One year of multi-stop delivery experience preferred or six months of local delivery and/or foodservice delivery experience preferred.
Ability to operate a manual transmission preferred; may be required in specific locations.
Hand cart delivery experience preferred.
Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
Basic math skills.
Must pass pre-employment testing, including a background check.
Knowledge of the local delivery area and map-reading skills preferred.
Ability to use safe lifting and loading techniques.
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
Availability to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as business needs require.

The expected base rate for this role is $24.13 per hour.
