About the Role:
Furniture Mart in Gretna, LA is looking for a dependable and customer-friendly Non-CDL Furniture Delivery Driver to join our growing team! In this role, you'll be the face of our brand — delivering quality furniture and exceptional service right to our customers' doors. Responsibilities:
- Safely load, transport, and deliver furniture to residential and commercial customers in the Gretna, LA area
- Unload, assemble and place furniture in customer homes with care
- Inspect deliveries for damage before and after transport and document any issues
- Communicate professionally with customers during delivery, ensuring a positive experience
- Follow daily delivery routes and schedules efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and proper upkeep of delivery vehicle
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (No CDL required)
- Prior delivery, moving, or logistics experience preferred
- Ability to lift and carry heavy furniture (50–100+ lbs) with a team partner
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Punctual, reliable, and detail-oriented work ethic
- Ability to navigate local routes using GPS or delivery apps
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
