Description: Rotates between driving a delivery truck with a capacity of less than 26,000 pounds gross vehicle weight (GVW). Load/unload product at customer locations for established routes by driving a box truck or tractor-trailer. Merchandiser/material-handling routes and may assist with warehouse operations as needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Services customers assigned to the route based on the scheduled time-stopped ranking. Must adapt to any changes in work assignments as well as support organizational restructuring efforts.
- Follow accounts receivable guidelines set by the trade/customer when checking in orders (DSD, PO#, Military, Receipt, or Stamp) with the customer.
- Place the product in our designated area and/or move the pallet display directly to the floor.
- Pick up all shells/flats, returned pallets, and damaged or out-of-date products.
- Merchandise assigned stops as scheduled per management.
- Assists in warehouse duties, picking, loading/unloading trucks as needed.
- Communicates issues, problems, or opportunities with the sales team and delivery team.
- Follows all company policies and procedures set forth by management.

Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should be familiar with Encompass handheld database software.
Certificates and Licenses: Valid Class C/D driver’s license meeting acceptable criteria, OSHA Forklift and Pallet jack training (will train).
