CharteredPartners is seeking an experienced assurance professional to join our client in Dubai at Partner level. The successful candidate will lead a non-audit assurance practice, taking sign-off responsibility for assurance reports, building the client and referral base across the ADGM and DIFC frameworks, and growing the service line. Key Responsibilities:

• Act as signing partner on non-audit assurance engagements, taking sign-off responsibility for reports issued under the International Standards on Assurance Engagements.
• Lead assurance work including agreed-upon procedures, reviews, controls assurance and other attestation engagements over IFRS-based information.
• Advise clients operating within the ADGM and DIFC regimes, as well as onshore UAE entities, on their assurance and reporting requirements.
• Originate new mandates and grow the practice through referral networks, intermediaries and client expansion.
• Provide technical leadership to managers and senior staff, reviewing difficult deliverables and resolving contentious matters.
• Support clients on reporting obligations connected to the UAE Federal Tax Authority regime, including VAT and the 9% Corporate Tax.
• Oversee independence, ethics and quality management compliance across the portfolio.
• Coordinate with audit and tax colleagues while preserving the independence of any statutory audit relationship.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• Chartered Accountant, ACA with the ICAEW, or ACCA-qualified, in good standing; equivalent recognised qualifications considered.
• Substantial post-qualification experience in assurance, with partner-level or equivalent engagement leadership.
• Demonstrable sign-off or de facto signing experience on assurance or attestation engagements.
• Strong working knowledge of IFRS and the International Standards on Assurance Engagements.
• Practical familiarity with the ADGM and DIFC regulatory and reporting frameworks.
• Understanding of the UAE Federal Tax Authority regime, including VAT and the 9% Corporate Tax, and the relevant SCA expectations for regulated entities.
• Strong grasp of independence, ethics and quality management requirements for assurance providers.
• Evidence of building and retaining client relationships and of winning new assurance work.
• Sound commercial judgement on engagement risk, pricing and resourcing.
• Excellent written and spoken English; Arabic is an advantage.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience within a firm operating across both free-zone and onshore UAE clients.
• Exposure to financial services, real estate, trading or family-office structures in the Gulf.
• Familiarity with cross-border group reporting into UAE holding structures.
• Experience supporting transactions and fundraising from an assurance standpoint.
• An established referral network among lawyers, bankers and corporate advisers in the UAE.
• Track record of building and developing an assurance team.

Compensation:

Competitive package commensurate with seniority and experience, including base, performance-based bonus, long-term incentives and (where applicable) partner-track participation.
