Job Description

Salary/Terms: $1500.00 annual stipend until funds are exhausted.

Reports to: Building Principal

Evaluation: Performance in this position will be evaluated by the building principal/immediate supervisor and in accordance with WV State Code §18A-2-12, WV State Board Policy 5310.

Qualifications

  1. Valid teaching certificate licensing the individual to teach in the specializations and grade levels pursuant to WV Code §18A-3-2.
  2. Criminal background check conducted pursuant to WV Code §18-5-15c and/or §18A-3-10, as appropriate
  3. Meet the qualifications outlined in WV Code §18A-3-2a.
  4. Must be employed at the Nicholas County Career & Technical Center.
  5. Perform duties as described in the job description below.

Job Summary:

The NOCTI Co-Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and overseeing all NOCTI testing activities for Career and Technical Education (CTE) students.

Performance Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate written and performance-based NOCTI assessments.
  • Schedule eligible students for testing.
  • Ensure compliance with NOCTI testing procedures and security requirements.
  • Coordinate testing locations, materials, equipment, and evaluators.
  • Maintain accurate testing records and documentation.
  • Submit required reports and testing data.
  • Communicate testing schedules and requirements to instructors, students, and administrators.
  • Assist staff with NOCTI testing procedures and training.
  • Maintain confidentiality of student records and test materials.
  • Complete other duties related to technical skill assessments as assigned.

The employee shall remain free of any alcohol or nonprescribed controlled substance abuse in the workplace throughout his/her employment in the School System.

the public and other staff members.
