Job Description

Everforth ECS is seeking a NOC Shift Lead - Senior to work in Fairfax, Virginia. Please Note: This position is contingent upon contract award.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise NOC shift personnel, ensuring effective real-time monitoring of network infrastructure and services.
  • Validate incident triage and escalation decisions, directing restoration activities to maintain service-level objectives.
  • Coordinate with engineering, cybersecurity, and infrastructure teams to resolve operational issues promptly.
  • Maintain continuous situational awareness of enterprise system health, providing timely updates and reports.
  • Review and ensure the quality and completeness of operational documentation and ticketing.
  • Provide shift-level performance reporting to leadership, highlighting key operational metrics and outcomes.
  • Oversee adherence to operational runbooks, ensuring consistent and effective network operations.
  • Act as the on-shift escalation authority for complex operational challenges.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Clearance: TS//SCI Eligible required
  • S. Citizenship required
  • DoD 8140.03 Compliance: DoD Cyber Workforce Framework (DCWF) Work Role 411-Technical Support Specialist at the Advanced proficiency level
  • Certifications (one or more required): SecurityX / CASP+, CCNP Security, CISA, FITSP-O, GICSP, SSCP
  • Education: Masters or Ph.D in [Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Software Engineering]
  • Minimum of 8–10 years of progressive experience in supervising NOC functions within DoD or Federal environments.
  • Proven ability to manage real-time monitoring and ensure network service continuity.
  • Experience in validating incident management processes and coordinating restoration efforts.
  • Strong communication skills to provide clear operational performance reporting.
