Job Shift: GraveyardThe Nursing Assistant - Certified (NAC) provides personal care to assigned clients in home health or residents in our nursing facilities under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN).  The NAC performs nurse delegated tasks in compliance with state law[1].

Qualifications:
- Must possess the ability to communicate effectively with clients/residents, families, clinical and non-clinical staff, and others in relation to provision of care to clients and residents.
- Must possess the ability to take direction from a supervising RN and then be able to work alone and deliver the care and services as delegated by the RN to assigned clients and residents.
- Ability to understand and address client/resident and family expectations and provide excellence in care and service consistent with the organization’s mission, vision, values and behavioral standards.
- Working knowledge or self-initiative to become knowledgeable of applicable local, state, and federal laws and standards as applicable to the role.
- Must be able to communicate in English both verbally and in writing, in a way that is understood by clients/residents, family members and others related to the health care team.

QualificationsExperience/Skills:
- Minimum one (1) year experience as a CNA and in role with a nurse delegator.
- One (1) year experience in a home health or nursing home setting preferred.
Education:
- Certified Nursing Assistant program.  Nurse delegation education as specified in Washington state law[1].
Licensure/Certification:
- Current Washington State Nursing Assistant Certification in good standing
- Current Health Care Provider CPR Certification
- Current Washington State driver’s license and access to a vehicle in good working order if working in home health
