Job Description

Our partner is a successful restaurant group known for pioneering F&B concepts that showcase diverse food cultures and traditions across generations. Their restaurants are enticing, energetic, and unpretentious, qualities which are reflected in the restaurants’ design and offerings. We are now seeking a Nightlife Manager to spearhead the nightly operations of their Manila venue, one of the most popular culinary and nightlife destinations in this fast-growing city. 
The Nightlife Manager is a hands-on operational and strategic role, responsible for driving revenue through innovative upselling, operational excellence, and exceptional team leadership. We seek an energetic, charismatic, and disciplined leader who can deliver outstanding guest experience whilst advancing brand loyalty and business growth.

Responsibilities include:
  • Developing, implementing, and monitoring ambitious yet achievable sales targets for the venue;
  • Conceiving and executing innovative upselling and cross-selling strategies;
  • Analysing daily and weekly sales data, guest trends, and feedback to identify opportunities for improvement or new revenue streams;
  • Collaborating with the marketing and entertainment teams on event-driven promotions that align with brand positioning and drive footfall;
  • Overseeing the entire nightly operation, ensuring seamless service, atmosphere, and execution that exceed guest expectations;
  • Working with the bar manager to implement and maintain best practices in operational systems
  • Enforcing compliance with health, safety, and liquor licensing regulations, including responsible service of alcohol and crowd management protocols;
  • Driving operational efficiency through effective rostering, resource allocation, and process improvement;
  • Recruiting, training, and mentoring all front-of-house staff to deliver an exceptional nightlife experience,
  • Designing and executing ongoing training programs focused on product knowledge, upselling techniques, service standards, and guest engagement;
  • Leading by example, staying visible, present, and involved on the floor every night,
  • Building a positive, inclusive, and high-performing team culture where accountability, teamwork, and energy is sustained;
  • Conduct regular coaching and performance reviews to develop future leaders within the team.
We seek candidates who have:
  • A minimum of 3 years of leadership experience in a high-volume nightclub, lounge, or premium bar;
  • Strong commercial acumen, with a knack for P&L management, budgeting, and implementing effective upselling and cost-control strategies;
  • Exceptional communication, coaching, and team-building skills;
  • A charismatic persona, with a savviness for engaging with diverse audiences and setting a fun, upbeat vibe;
  • A deep passion for nightlife, music, and hospitality excellence.
