Night Warehouse Inventory Clerk / Truck Load Builder

We are currently seeking a Night Warehouse Inventory Clerk / Truck Load Builder to join our night warehouse team.
Schedule
Sunday–Thursday, starting at 4:00 PM until work is completed.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform all assignments, duties, and responsibilities in a professional manner.
- Assign and monitor order selector routes.
- Prepare and process routes for selectors, including highlighting critical customers, assigning trucks on route cover sheets, and verifying pre-pulls for designated routes.
- Enter approved add-on orders for designated customers.
- Maintain daily spreadsheets, including production information, errors, and averages.
- Perform basic wearable equipment maintenance, including changing batteries and resetting wearable scan units.
- Sign out forklift driver scan guns and night-selector equipment.
- Manage the equipment sign-out and sign-in process.
- Learn and utilize the Warehouse Management System (WMS), including receiving, invoicing, and reporting functions.
- Accurately invoice routes, including entering catch weights, substitutions, and out-of-stock items.
- Clean and organize driver boards from the previous day and prepare them for the following day.
- Assemble driver packets containing invoices, add-on orders, and applicable customer flyers.
- Make changes, adjustments, and substitutions to route paperwork in the system and invoice routes for billing.
- Run end-of-day queries and reports, then organize and place them in designated locations.
- Separate and organize routes with the appropriate paperwork in assigned route slots for driver pickup.
- Communicate with drivers regarding route changes, new customers, and other circumstances that may affect deliveries.
- Assist the Transportation Department with various duties as needed.
- Remain on duty until properly relieved. This may occasionally require working beyond the scheduled shift.
- Assist management with entering time and attendance information for night warehouse personnel.
- Monitor incoming warehouse phone calls and direct them to the appropriate personnel.
- Work weekends, holidays, and overtime as required.
- Maintain excellent attendance and adhere to the established work schedule.
- Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), company policies, and safety procedures.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
- Ability to quickly learn and apply new technical concepts and systems.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and effectively as part of a team.
- Foodservice or warehouse experience is a plus, but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate.
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English to understand work instructions, communicate with team members, and perform essential job duties.
