Medivet Hendon Hospital is currently seeking a Night Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their dedicated team at their well-equipped, busy hospital in London.

This full-time, permanent position offers an excellent opportunity to develop nursing skills in medical and surgical nursing, working alongside a veterinary surgeons and another experienced RVN's.

Hendon is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and handles a wide and complex caseload, making it an ideal environment for veterinary professionals looking to grow in both first-opinion and advanced care.

The shift pattern is 7 nights on 14 nights off. The salary range is £34,000 - £36,000 including location allowance and dependant on experience.

Role Accountabilities

In this role you will:

• Consistently deliver exceptional care to your clients.

• Support with surgeries and procedures, completing all pre and post procedure activity.

• Carry out nurse led appointments and schedule 3 activities.

• Deliver patient monitoring and care.

• Manage admissions and discharges as directed by the Veterinary team.

• Complete patient transfers to out of hours or enhanced care.

• Dispense and check medication.

• Deliver professional excellence,complying withall regulatory, practice and operational standards.

• Hold briefings to engage and co-ordinate your team to support the most effective running of the practice.

Your Skills and Experience

• RCVS registered VeterinaryNurse.

• Experience of delivering exceptional patient and client care.

• Experienced in working effectively as part of a team

• Experience of supporting Nurse consults, with an understanding of how this contributes topracticeperformance and efficiency

• Experienced in using coaching and influencing skills to get the best out of every colleague.
