Job Description

As a Warehouse Supervisor, you lead by example, working alongside and supervising Forklift Operators and Material Handlers on the night shift. You play a key role in the efficient performance between the Warehouse and Operations.

You Will:

  • Manage Forklift Operator / Material Handler daily activities, assuring the team is achieving safety, quality & productivity standards.

  • Coordinate & prioritize work assignments & training, guiding and developing Warehouse Associates.

  • Monitor warehouse operations, assuring product flow for daily requirements are met, forklift fleet is properly maintained, issues are resolved, and improvement opportunities are identified.

  • Work alongside the team, operating a forklift to transport raw materials and finished goods between the warehouse and production areas, as well as loading finished goods to ship to customers.

  • Effectively communicate with other warehouse supervisors and also with production leadership to ensure teams are working together to contribute to the overall success of the site.

You Have:

  • An associate’s degree in supply chain or business is preferred

  • Minimum of three (3) years of warehouse experience in a manufacturing environment

  • Minimum of six (6) months of leadership experience overseeing activities of others (Warehouse Environment preferred)

  • Minimum of one year of forklift experience

  • Ability to work night shift 6:45 pm to 7 am, on a rotating schedule for 3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, and 3 days off

  • Great social and interpersonal skills to relate with and motivate people

  • Experience using computer programs, such as SAP

  • Excellent critical thinking & analytical skills

  • Knowledge of 6S & continuous improvement desired

  • Physical requirement includes the ability to lift & move up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
