Job Title: Night Shift Warehouse Porter

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Night Shift Warehouse Porter to join our Transport team. This role is responsible for ensuring the accurate sorting, handling and movement of goods throughout the warehouse operation, helping to maintain an efficient and safe distribution service.
Working as part of a busy night shift team, you will play a key role in unloading deliveries, sorting orders into the correct routes, replenishing stock and ensuring products are dispatched accurately and on time. This position would suit someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced warehouse environment and takes pride in maintaining high standards of accuracy, safety and housekeeping.
Responsibilities
Safely unload inbound trunk vehicles and trailers.
Load outbound vehicles accurately and securely for dispatch.
Sort customer orders into the correct routes and designated areas.
Replenish stock in line with operational requirements.
Transfer goods safely to the dispatch area.
Follow all checking and scanning procedures to ensure accuracy.
Maintain high standards of housekeeping, security and health & safety.
Identify and report damages, discrepancies or operational issues promptly.
Skills and Knowledge
High level of visual accuracy and attention to detail.
Good verbal communication skills.
Basic written communication skills.
Good numeracy and literacy skills.
Customer-focused approach.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
