
We are looking for a Multicarrier Dispatch Senior Specialist to support and optimize our Landside Operations by planning and coordinating container movements, assigning freight to drivers, managing port appointments, and ensuring the smooth execution of drayage operations.
This role serves as a key operational point of contact between drivers, customers, terminals, and internal stakeholders. The successful candidate will take ownership of complex operational scenarios, proactively identify risks, drive process improvements, and help ensure freight moves efficiently across the network.
The ideal candidate is highly analytical, process-oriented, customer-focused, and capable of making sound operational decisions in a fast-paced logistics environment.
Plan and coordinate freight movements, ensuring efficient assignment of loads and empty containers to drivers.
Develop and oversee daily drayage execution plans to ensure timely pickup and return of loaded and empty containers.
Monitor daily operational performance and confirm execution of assigned work across the driver network.
Schedule and manage port appointments, ensuring container availability and equipment readiness.
Arrange and secure chassis reservations to support operational requirements.
Maintain proactive communication with customers, terminals, carriers, and drivers to ensure successful completion of planned movements.
Support drivers in resolving operational challenges and escalate critical issues when required.
Coordinate road service requests, chassis maintenance, and equipment-related incidents.
Utilize optimization tools and operational data to improve dispatch planning and execution.
Update customer TMS platforms and ensure accurate visibility of operational activities.
Prepare, update, and distribute container recaps, Daily Recaps, and Daily Hand-Off reports.
Report container damages and ensure proper documentation and escalation.
Assign loads and empties through Trinium while ensuring efficient capacity utilization.
Analyze operational performance trends and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Support root cause analysis activities and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurring operational issues.
Drive operational excellence through process standardization, reporting discipline, and data-driven decision making.
4–5+ years of experience in shipping, logistics, transportation, dispatch, landside operations, freight coordination, or related operational functions.
Previous experience managing complex transportation operations, drayage execution, freight planning, or container logistics.
Advanced English communication skills (written and verbal).
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, including root cause analysis and operational troubleshooting.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, and complex formulas.
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
Experience utilizing data, reports, and operational metrics to support business decisions.
Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong stakeholder management and customer communication skills.
Experience working with transportation management systems (TMS) and logistics platforms.
Experience in intermodal transportation, drayage operations, container logistics, trucking operations, or port-related activities is highly preferred.

This role is part of our dedicated night-shift operation.
The team operates across three night-shift schedules:
7:00 PM – 2:30 AM
8:30 PM – 3:30 AM
10:00 PM – 5:30 AM
Schedules are assigned based on operational needs, business requirements, and demonstrated performance during training.
The operation is structured into three pods, with each pod consisting of two team members. Team members demonstrating strong operational performance, autonomy, and decision-making capabilities may be assigned to later shift coverage.
Team members may be required to attend the office approximately 1–2 times per month for team meetings, training sessions, or business activities.
The organization will transition to a 100% office presence in January 2027.
