Burston Houseis looking to recruit a Senior Staff Nurse to join the team.

Priory Burston House, Burston, near Diss on the Suffolk/Norfolk border is a level 2 rehabilitation service for male patients with a learning disability. It is accessible by public transport, with Diss railway station approximately 3 miles from the service and limited local bus links. Due to the location of the service, access to a vehicle or the ability to drive is recommended.
What you'll be doing
You will join the team on the secure and rehabilitation ward. The shift patterns will be from 19:30 to 07:45 with a 1.5 hour unpaid break.
- Week 1 – Friday, Saturday and Sunday
- Week 2 – Friday and Saturday.
In this role, you will play a key part in patient recovery, supporting the assessment and delivery of tailored treatment plans while ensuring dignity, respect, and high standards of care.
You will provide high-quality, person-centred nursing care to Patients/Service Users, assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating their physical and mental healthcare needs. You will work collaboratively with the MDT, supervise junior staff and students, maintain accurate records, uphold NMC standards and help ensure a safe, therapeutic environment.

What you'll bring to the role
Essential
- Qualified Registered Mental Health Nurse with 2+ years post-registration experience within Mental Health or Learning Disability services as a minimum
- Knowledge of NMC standards guidelines, requests and professional practices.
- Evidence of post registration continuing professional development.
- Demonstrates a positive attitude and commitment to change, improvement and quality. Ability to develop and use flexible and innovative approaches to practise.
