About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Night Security Supervisor to join one of Sydney’s most iconic and highly sought-after corporate sites, located in Pyrmont, Sydney, NSW.

This is a permanent, Monday–Friday night role (18:00–04:00) overseeing security operations within a world-class, technology-driven environment known for its exceptional culture, cutting-edge facilities, and employee-first approach. As the Night Security Supervisor, you will play a critical leadership role, acting as the senior security presence on site overnight. You will be responsible for leading and developing the night team, maintaining high compliance standards, responding confidently to incidents and emergencies, and ensuring the smooth operation of the Security Service Centre. This role is ideal for a proactive, confident supervisor who enjoys autonomy, responsibility, and working within a premium corporate environment where professionalism and trust are paramount.

Responsibilities

As the Night Security Supervisor, your key responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

• Providing on-the-ground leadership and supervision of security officers during night operations
• Conducting training, mentoring, and ongoing development of security staff on shift
• Ensuring full compliance with site procedures, client requirements, and company policies
• Acting as the first point of contact for incidents and emergencies, including coordinating emergency responses and escalating where required
• Maintaining oversight of the team, including monitoring systems, incident reporting, and communications
• Completing accurate incident reports, handover notes, and shift documentation
• Providing operational shift cover when required to ensure continuity of service
• Liaising with site stakeholders, control room operators, and management as needed
• Proactively identifying risks and implementing preventative security measures
• Supporting a professional, calm, and responsive security presence across the site at all times

Skills & Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Current NSW Security Licence – 1A Classification (Required)
• Current First Aid and CPR certification (Required)
• Certificate II in Security Operations (Required)
• Working with Children Check (Required)
• Current Police Check (Required)
• Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in a Security Supervisor or leadership role
• Previous experience working night shifts, ideally in a high-profile or corporate environment
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to train, mentor, and support security officers on shift
• Proven ability to remain calm, decisive, and professional when responding to incidents or emergencies
• High attention to detail with strong reporting and compliance capabilities
• A proactive, reliable, and accountable approach to security operations
