Security Officer | Full-Time

Salary Range $17.00 - $18.00 per hour

Canopy by Hilton Baltimore Harbor Point is seeking a dependable, professional, and service-focused Security Officer to help deliver Hilton’s vision:

This role is responsible for maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for guests, team members, and hotel property.

Position Responsibilities

• Monitor the safety and security of guests, employees, and hotel property
• Conduct routine patrols throughout the hotel and public areas
• Respond promptly and professionally to emergencies and guest concerns
• Escort guests or team members when necessary
• Assist with overnight guest requests, room deliveries, and support calls
• Monitor surveillance systems and maintain security equipment per hotel standards
• Investigate incidents, accidents, injuries, or disturbances and complete required reports
• Identify and address safety hazards or policy violations
• Coordinate with local law enforcement or emergency personnel when needed
• Complete daily shift activity and incident reports accurately
• Maintain knowledge of hotel emergency procedures and protocols
• Support a positive guest experience while enforcing hotel safety standards

Qualifications

• Previous security experience required
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
• Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment
• Flexible schedule availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
