We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Sanitation Worker to join our team.

In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that our warehouse facilities remain clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety standards. Your efforts will directly contribute to the efficiency and safety of our operations, as well as the well-being of our team members. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness. As a Warehouse Sanitation Worker, you will be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing various areas of the warehouse, including floors, equipment, and storage areas. You will also be tasked with managing waste disposal, restocking cleaning supplies, and reporting any maintenance or safety issues to the appropriate personnel. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to follow established cleaning protocols. Schedule: Sunday - Thursday

Hours: 10 p.m. - until finished

This position keeps warehouse areas in a clean and orderly condition by performing the following duties.

Main Responsibilities may include:

• Clean and sanitize warehouse floors, equipment, and storage areas.
• Dispose of waste and recyclable materials in accordance with company policies.
• Restock cleaning supplies and maintain inventory levels.
• Inspect and report any maintenance or safety issues to supervisors.
• Follow established cleaning protocols and safety guidelines.
• Operate cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers and vacuums.
• Assist in organizing and maintaining a tidy workspace.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure overall cleanliness of the facility.
• All other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in sanitation or cleaning roles is a plus.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects as needed.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean work environment.

A qualified candidate must have the ability to operate light to heavy cleaning equipment including, but not limited to, floor scrubber, floor vacuum and all-purpose cleaning machines. Sanitation personnel must have the ability to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds and must have the ability to clean all types of surfaces. Ability to work in a freezer/cold storage warehouse environment for extended periods while following all safety procedures.

This position requires contact with cleaning chemicals, occasional use of ladders and or material handling equipment. A candidate must be willing to work extended schedules including overtime and weekends.
