We invite you to be part of our story. About Aethos SaraganoAethos Saragano is a medieval stone village nestled between olive groves and vineyards in the Umbrian countryside. With 15 renovated suites throughout the town, a pool, a Spa, and our very own restaurant, "Ceci," we are preserving the medieval character of the village and adding elements of contemporary design. We want to create a special place in the middle of the Umbrian hills that invites our guests to enjoy the authentic Italian way of life. Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities
Manage the check-in process for guests arriving during the night shift
Assist guests with check-out if necessary
Provide information about the facility and available services
Monitor security cameras and ensure the safety of guests and the property
Conduct regular security inspections in various areas of the hotel
Respond promptly to emergency situations or security reports
Respond to in-room calls and provide assistance to guests during the night shift
Coordinate any in-room service requests or special guest needs
Verify reservations for the next day and prepare necessary documentation
Maintain a log of activities and significant events during the night shift
Share relevant information with daytime staff
Administrative activities such as reservation acceptance and entry in the PMS, cash register/credit card accounting as well as general office activities
Print ”in-house” reports for all relevant departments (F&B breakfast report, housekeeping report etc.)
Core Competencies
Fluent in English & Italian is a must
2+ years of hospitality experience
Adaptable to changes in nightly operations, guest needs, or unforeseen circumstances
Flexibility in handling various tasks and responsibilities
Efficient in managing time to meet nightly responsibilities and deadlines
Must be a natural host and passionate about the hospitality industry in general
Research, organizational skills, and extraordinary relationship-building skills
Strong communication (both written and oral) and management skills. Communicate with hosts and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous, and service-oriented manner
cdsAbility to make thoughtful decisions and give constructive criticism
Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying concerns raised by employees and guests
Able to maintain a high level of confidentiality of guests, employees, and information
Maintains regular attendance in compliance with Aethos Hotel Standards, as required by scheduling, which will vary according to the needs of the hotel
Comply with Aethos Hotel Standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations
Maximizes efforts towards productivity, identifies problem areas, and assists in implementing solutions
Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times, whilst remaining genuine
