Night Picker is responsible for safely identifying, selecting, and loading product into trucks appropriately for routing and delivery to the customer.

What you’ll do:
• Uses a scan gun to determine order that needs to be picked, and information where product is located in warehouse, product codes, sequence of deliveries, and special loading instructions.
• Affixes shipping labels on cartons.
• Examines outgoing product to ensure quality of product meets specifications.
• Selects, picks, and palletized product by hand and loads into trucks in doors as assigned.
• Position merchandise so that proper stacking rules are employed and light cartons are positioned above heavier items.
• Weighs certain items and records weight for company records.
• General housekeeping of the shipping dock, aisles, and coolers.
• Safely load trucks nightly efficiently and error free.
• Responsible for adhering to food security, food safety regulations and policies (SQF, HACCP, CGMPs)
• Other work as assigned by Supervisor/Lead

About you:
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Certified to operate a pallet jack
• Able to lift at a minimum of 45-50lbs consistently
• Able to read product codes and special instructions for orders
• Work in cold temperatures ranging from -0 to 35 degrees
• Fast Paced Environment
• Work Schedule (Sunday - Friday 6/:30pm - until last truck is loaded)

Preferred:
• Previous warehouse experience
• Produce Experience
• RF Scanner
