Job Location Blacklion Logistics - Landover, MD 20785 Salary Range $21.00 - $23.00 Hourly

We are looking for a competent Logistics Coordinator to oversee and facilitate the inbound operations of our company overnight. You will be the one to track carriers to achieve on-time delivery of all freight to our east coast facilities. The ideal candidate will be a strong self-starter and have excellent written and verbal communication skills. They will have great record-keeping abilities and a customer-oriented approach. The Logistics Coordinator will work with the Blacklion Logistics team and will frequently communicate with buyers, carriers, shippers and receiving personnel.

Responsibilities

  • Track shipments from pickup through delivery.
  • Communicate with carriers regularly to provide our customers with updates on open loads.
  • Confirm accurate BOL’s as drivers get loaded overnight.
  • Prepare daily updates for dayshift.
  • Invoicing.



Qualifications

High school Diploma Required.

Proven experience as a logistics coordinator.

Experience in customer service appreciated.

Knowledge of DOT HOS requirements.

Ability to work remotely with little supervision.

Computer- savvy with working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

Ability to work Sunday through Friday- 10pm-5am.
