Night Drilling Completion Supervisor

NIGHT DRILLING COMPLETION SUPERVISOR is required by our Client, an Oil and Gas Contractor, to be assigned on a contract basis, located in Paramaribo, Suriname.

STARTING DATE: Paramaribo, Suriname

DURATION: Min 2-years

SCHEDULE: Rotational (4 weeks on/4 weeks off)

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Technical:

• Supervise the implementation of drilling programs. Assist to work instructions.
• Guaranteeing the accomplishment of the operations, in compliance with Company rules, safety and environmental protection referential.
• Optimizing rig equipment & processes in relation to contractors.
• Contribute to reinforcing the application of best working practices to:
• Compliance with HSE rules, standards and targets
• Preventing major accidents (blow out, spills, etc)
• Prevent any damage to assets
• Minimize Non-Productive Time and enhance operational performances
• In charge of Issuing daily the Daily Drilling Report / Wellview reporting system.
• Conduct costs follow-up tracking sheet.
• Anticipate potential problems and plan (with the DCSSV) to help with alternative strategies.
• Anticipate needs of equipment and inform the DCSSV.
• Contribute to the improvement of skills and the know-how.
• Compile night lessons learnt and enhance drilling performances and advise the DCASV in charge to track it.

Management and interfaces:

• Ensure the continuity of the operations between the night and the day shift

HSE

• Ensure that Company and Contractor HSE standards are fully respected and known by all.
• Actively participate in Company and Contractor safety awareness and initiative schemes

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE

• Technician or Engineering profile (Bachelor’s degree of Engineering or equivalent), with more than 5 years of experience in operational environment in drilling.
• Good knowledge of offshore and specifically deepwater environment
