This is an exciting opportunity for an aspiring night owl to join our Front Office team at The Rees Hotel, Queenstown!

This overnight position would suit someone looking to make the most of the outdoor adventure lifestyle Queenstown offers.

The hours of work are 11pm to 7.30am, and days of work may include weekends and public holidays.

This is a full-time permanent role and we are recruiting for one position.

Key responsibilities include:

• Entering charges on guest accounts

• Balancing all hotel accounts on a nightly basis

• Safety and security of guests, staff and the hotel

• Producing and distributing all required reports

• Ensuring maximum security of all areas under your control

• Meeting and greeting all guests on arrival and departure, and carrying out all guest requests

• Operating hotel vehicles

Skills, experience and attributes

• A minimum of two years of relevant experience

• Hold a valid current Manager's Certificate/Liquor Controller Qualification (LCQ) or be in a position to obtain one

• Strong computer skills and experience with PMS (preferably RMS Cloud)

• Strong numeric skills

• Full driver’s licence essential

• Be able to work autonomously with excellent time management skills

• Strong verbal and written English language skills

• Must be physically fit, with a high standard of personal presentation and grooming

• Long term commitment to Queenstown essential

• Rate of pay minimum $28.20 per hour to maximum $29.50 per hour

• Minimum 30 hours per week guaranteed and a maximum of 50 hours per week
