Position Type: Full Time
Salary Range: $24.00 - $24.00 Hourly

Position Summary
The Night Auditor / Night Manager is responsible for overseeing all overnight hotel operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining guest satisfaction, and acting as the manager on duty. This role combines front desk responsibilities with accounting functions and leadership oversight during non-business hours.
Key Responsibilities
Front Desk & Guest Services
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all overnight guest needs
- Handle check-ins, check-outs, and reservation inquiries
- Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally
- Ensure a secure and welcoming environment at all times
Night Audit & Financial Duties
- Complete daily audit procedures and reconcile all hotel accounts
- Balance room revenue, cash, credit card transactions, and third-party billing
- Post room charges, taxes, and adjustments accurately
- Generate and distribute daily financial and operational reports
- Identify and report discrepancies to management
Operational Oversight
- Act as Manager on Duty overnight, ensuring smooth hotel operations
- Conduct property walks to ensure cleanliness, safety, and compliance
- Monitor overnight activity, including arrivals, departures, and security
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and security as needed
Compliance & Security
- Ensure adherence to hotel policies, procedures, and safety standards
- Respond to emergencies and incidents following established protocols
- Maintain confidentiality of guest and financial information

Qualifications
- Previous front desk or night audit experience preferred
- Strong understanding of hotel PMS systems (e.g., Opera, SynXis, or similar)
- Basic accounting knowledge and attention to detail
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong communication and guest service skills
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Occasional walking of the property during overnight shifts
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs if needed
