Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handyman to perform general maintenance, repairs, and minor construction tasks across our facilities. The ideal candidate should have experience in various trades, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general maintenance.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Performs routine maintenance and repair tasks, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and drywall repairs.

· Inspects buildings and identify necessary repairs or potential issues.

· Installs, repairs, and replaces fixtures such as doors, windows, flooring, and light fixtures.

· Assembles furniture, equipment, and other items as needed.

· Maintains tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe and organized manner.

· Responds to maintenance requests in a timely manner.

· Ensures all work complies with safety regulations and company policies.

· Works independently or as part of a team to complete assigned tasks efficiently.

KEY ATTRIBUTES

· Proven experience as a handyman or in a related field.

· Knowledge of general maintenance, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.

· Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical manuals, and instructions.

· Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

· Good physical stamina and ability to lift/move heavy objects.

· Basic knowledge of workplace safety practices.

· Strong communication and organizational skills.

· Valid driver's license may be required.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

· This position has no supervisory responsibilities

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

· No prior experience or training.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

· Read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.

· Write simple correspondence.

· Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other Associates of the organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

· Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, division and multiplication)

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

· Forklift/Power Industrial Truck Training provided at store level
