NGS Project Operations Associate Internship

The NGS Project Operations Associate is responsible for focusing on process support, data analysis, and coordination of warranty-related activities. This role supports warranty execution and outage planning activities within the Power Generation organization. The NGS Project Operations Associate will be working closely with Warranty Project Managers and the Warranty Outage Manager to ensure accurate tracking, reporting, and execution of warranty claims. The position also leads efforts, collaborates with leadership, and provides strategic oversight to ensure efficiencies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Demonstrates our core competencies: Action oriented, change champion, customer-focused, developing self & others, and ownership
  • Review, enter, and manage warranty claims within centralized databases to ensure accuracy and timely processing.
  • Analyze warranty data to identify trends and support root cause analysis and warranty review meetings.
  • Prepare and support reporting related to warranty outage performance and execution status.
  • Support definition and improvement of warranty claim processes, including process mapping and identification of bottlenecks.
  • Assist with material tracking and coordination activities supporting warranty outage execution.
  • Perform additional tasks to support warranty operations and technical support initiatives.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in relevant Mechanical, Industrial, or Engineeringdiscipline or technical diploma from college or university.
  • Strong analytical skills related to engineering problem solving. Able to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Able to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint, with demonstrated ability to create, manage, and communicate information effectively. Experience using Power BI for data visualization, analysis, and reporting.
  • Exceptional communication, strategic thinking, and organizational skills.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis and must not require employer immigration sponsorship, now or in the future.
