Senior Full Stack Engineer

Experience

5–8 years in full-stack application development with experience building enterprise web applications and cloud-native platforms.

Responsibilities

1. Design and develop frontend and backend features for the A+E Unlimited platform.
2. Build modern user interfaces using Next.js, React, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS.
3. Develop backend APIs and business services supporting media ingest, metadata management, publishing, delivery, and search.
4. Integrate frontend applications with RESTful APIs and cloud services.
5. Implement media workflow capabilities including asset registration, metadata updates, publishing, and delivery.
6. Build integrations with Supabase, Amazon S3, Bitmovin, and Permit.io.
7. Develop secure authentication and authorization workflows using Okta and RBAC controls.
8. Build AI-assisted workflow implementation including metadata enrichment and discovery services.
9. Write unit tests, integration tests, and support automation initiatives.
10. Participate in sprint planning, estimation, and code reviews.
11. Troubleshoot production issues and optimize performance.
12. Contribute to technical documentation and coding standards.
13. Collaborate with architects, UX designers, QA teams, and DevOps engineers.

Technical Skills

1. Strong experience with Next.js, React, and TypeScript.
2. Experience building backend services using Node.js, Express, NestJS, or FastAPI.
3. Experience with PostgreSQL and Supabase.
4. Strong understanding of REST APIs and API integration patterns.
5. Experience with AWS services including S3, Lambda, CloudFront, and Cognito.
6. Experience integrating with media processing platforms such as Bitmovin.
7. Experience implementing RBAC and authentication solutions.
8. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps.
9. Experience with testing frameworks including Jest, Cypress, and Playwright.
10. Experience working with event-driven architectures and asynchronous processing.
11. Exposure to AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Amazon Q, Claude Code, Cursor, or KIRO.
