Join our #1 news team as a Producer/Streaming Producer, responsible for producing timely, accurate content for broadcast, streaming, and digital platforms. The ideal candidate is a strong writer with sound news judgment who performs well under deadline, demonstrates leadership and organization, and maintains a high standard for detail and accuracy. This role requires flexible hours, solid technical skills, and a clear understanding of multi-platform news delivery.
Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Producing and/or assisting producing weekday newscasts and streaming content.
- Ability to fill in on other shifts as needed, including weekends.
- Assisting with digital producing, including web and social, and shooting/editing video as directed by news management.
- Taking direction and learning under the guidance of news management and senior producers.
- Enterprising story ideas and covering a variety of assignments.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- A BA/BS degree in Broadcast Journalism or related field is required for this position.
- Prior professional experience working in news media is preferred.
- Strong professional social media skills.
- Solid technical and computer skills.
- A valid driver's license and good driving record.
