Job Description
Student interns are an integral part of the Newcomb-Tulane College Academic Affairs team and are given opportunities to build a professional portfolio of experiences. NTC Academic Affairs student interns support the NTC Academic Affairs mission through the following:
- Providing comprehensive administrative support for various NTC Academic Affairs units including benchmarking projects
- Supporting academic programs that enhance the undergraduate academic experience including assisting with event planning and logistics
- Engaging with NTC Academic Affairs staff to create and distribute marketing materials for NTC Academic Affairs units
- Collaborating with other interns and NTC Academic affairs staff on special projects, based on student interests
Work Hours & Pay
Interns are generally scheduled to work ten hours per week, Monday to Friday, between 8:30 and 5p. Interns are paid $13/hour.

- Program management and event planning
- Marketing and content creation
Qualifications:
- Active enrollment as a student at Tulane University

Newcomb-Tulane College Academic Affairs interns should act with integrity, be dependable, flexible, innovative and able to communicate effectively with a variety of stakeholders. Much of the intern work is independent, so we value strong initiative and open and timely communication around the office.
