
The Department of Cell Biology and the Regenerative Medicine Institute at New York University Grossman School of Medicine invite applications to fill tenure-track positions at the Assistant/Associate Professor levels. We seek applicants with exceptional records of achievement to join our highly interdisciplinary faculty.
Candidates with innovative and independent research programs that study stem cell biology at the molecular, cellular, or organismal level are encouraged to apply. We welcome applications from candidates seeking to use simple systems, such as organoids and assembloids, to explore human disease and gain fundamental insights into human development, tissue homeostasis, and regeneration. Successful candidates are expected to initiate and maintain cutting-edge research programs that complement the collaborative environment at the Department and Institute, and throughout the NYU Langone Health research community.
The Department of Cell Biology and the Regenerative Medicine Institute are housed in a newly renovated building with state-of-the-art microscopy facilities and a new central facility to develop organoid research. NYU Grossman School of Medicine will support new faculty with generous start-up packages, excellent research laboratory space, and world-class core facilities. New faculty members will hold a primary academic appointment in the Department of Cell Biology and will participate in the NYU Grossman School of Medicine graduate programs.
NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements The annual salary range for a junior faculty role is $160,000 to $180,000. Candidates who qualify for higher faculty appointments are also encouraged to apply.
Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including faculty appointment, credentials, research history, specialty, and health system need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
