At Doncasters we have an exciting opportunity for a New Production Buyer to join our team in Long Beach, CA.
The N ew Production Buyer will be responsible for managing the procurement cycle the Buyer will perform all aspects of Purchasing and Supply chain activities on behalf of Doncasters New England.
The salary range for this role is 75,000-90,000 salary

The Role:
Processing internal requisitions and generating purchase orders to place with suppliers and sub-contractors in line with business requirements.
Updating and issuing supplier delivery schedules, including provision of forecast information to suppliers.
Progressing of purchase orders to obtain acknowledgements and supplier commitment to both pricing and delivery dates.
Support for production and factory enquiries, to ensure all consumables, materials and services are available as and when required.
Accurate and timely clearance of invoice queries to ensure supplier accounts are maintained.

Qualifications:
• Highly motivated, a flexible and reliable individual with excellent communication skills
• Working knowledge of the company business systems and Microsoft applications.
• Previous experience as buyer or in a related purchasing role.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience/combined education.
• Excellent communication, organization, and project management skills.

Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering, Science or Manufacturing discipline with one to three years' experience of procurement in manufacturing or a minimum of three years in a similar role.
