Job Description

The New Model Specialist will collaborate with cross functional teams (Manufacturing Engineers, Quality Engineers, Manufacturing, Packaging, Design, Suppliers, Customers, etc.) to manage milestones of a new model launch, tracking and monitoring Engineering/Design changes, component ordering, shipping trial orders, communication with internal teams as well as suppliers and customers, coordinate low volume and high-volume production trials and reporting out launch status to upper management.

Skills & Abilities The NMS must have strong communication skills as well as the ability to work in a team environment. This position will require someone with strong project management skills as well as the ability to guide and motivate other people. The Specialist must be self-motivated and be efficient in both written and verbal communication. This position will require strong computer skills, strong math skills for calculating required volumes of components and material needed for trail and planning skills necessary to establish and maintain schedules across multiple programs.

Skills and Experience Preferred: Microsoft Office, Power 8, Oracle, shipping experience, ability to learn quickly and manage multiple tasks.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor's degree preferred.
