Do you love the water and enjoy helping others feel confident and safe in the pool? Looking for a fun, flexible part-time role where you can stay active while making a real impact? The YMCA of the North Shore is excited to launch aquatics programming at our NEW Soul Center YMCA, formerly theย Beverly Athletic Club, featuring a shallow heated indoor saltwater pool โ and weโre looking for Swim Instructors to join our team!
๐ง No Experience? No Problem!
We provide paid training for the right candidates! Youโll learn the YMCA Swim Curriculum, shadow experienced instructors, earn certifications, and receive ongoing coaching and support.
๐ผ What Youโll Do
As a Swim Instructor, you will:
๐ Teach swim skills to children and adults of all ability levels
๐ Lead engaging group and private lessons using YMCA swim progression
๐ Promote water safety and build lifelong confidence in the water
๐ถ Work with all ages โ from Parent/Child classes to adult learners

Assess swimmer progress and provide positive, encouraging feedback

Qualifications
- Must be at least 16 years old
- Current certifications in Lifeguarding/Swim Instruction, Pro CPR, First Aid, and Oxygen preferred โ or willing to obtain
- Positive attitude, love of the water, and desire to make a difference!
