Do you love the water and enjoy helping others feel confident and safe in the pool? Looking for a fun, flexible part-time role where you can stay active while making a real impact? The YMCA of the North Shore is excited to launch aquatics programming at our NEW Soul Center YMCA, formerly the Beverly Athletic Club, featuring a shallow heated indoor saltwater pool — and we’re looking for Swim Instructors to join our team!
💧 No Experience? No Problem!
We provide paid training for the right candidates! You’ll learn the YMCA Swim Curriculum, shadow experienced instructors, earn certifications, and receive ongoing coaching and support.
💼 What You’ll Do
As a Swim Instructor, you will:
🐠 Teach swim skills to children and adults of all ability levels
🌊 Lead engaging group and private lessons using YMCA swim progression
🛟 Promote water safety and build lifelong confidence in the water
👶 Work with all ages — from Parent/Child classes to adult learners
✅ Assess swimmer progress and provide positive, encouraging feedback

Qualifications
Must be at least 16 years old
Current certifications in Lifeguarding/Swim Instruction, Pro CPR, First Aid, and Oxygen preferred – or willing to obtain
Positive attitude, love of the water, and desire to make a difference!
